Plants and Flowers

Here are some pics I took this month of plants and flowers, mostly around the property, although the first two were taken in Akaka Falls State Park.

    Hey, Cameron - those are beautiful pictures! I think you need to purchase a really nice camera so you can emphasize your natural eye for nature's beauty. ~ Quick question - when you post your pictures for the blog, are you using the "large" picture setting? And what setting are you using on your camera for picture sizes and quality?

    I agree that I could use a better camera. I'm hoping that I can sell enough pictures that I already have that I can pay for a new (or even used) digital SLR camera.
    The camera I have is a Sony point and shoot thing, and while it's great, it really doesn't offer a lot of flexibility, and the zoom is terrible (3x optical) and it's only 5 megapixels.

    This is the large setting in blogger, but I don't stretch them out at all. They're stored in picasa, but even there they're not that big. In some ways I like that, because if I get a REALLY good photo, then the public (strangers, not you guys) can only download the smaller picture with less resolution,
